Call for Participants – Activist Skills Training 3 “Communication”
The Youth of European Nationalities (YEN) has still some few spots left for the Activist Skills Training 3 „Communication“. The event will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia from the 28th November – 1st December 2024.
ACTivist Skills Trainings in Year 2024
In 2024, we are focusing on the topic of “ACTivism” with the aim to strengthen the work of our member organisations. To do this, we will reflect on minority rights and our options for action in our seminars and training sessions throughout the course of the year. We will place particular focus on learning concrete skills that can help us improve engagement within our minority youth organisations.
We have already conducted the first two training sessions on the following topics “Sustainable activism” and “Project management”. This training, will be last one of this training series.
About the Training
Working in a team within minority (youth) organisations or on projects can sometimes be challenging. However, this experience is valuable for reflecting on and learning how to communicate and interact effectively and respectfully. In our last training in Ljubljana, Slovenia we will enhance our communication skills. We will equip ourselves with tools of verbal and non-verbal communication to positively impact our relationships or teamwork, and overall various settings.

Registration
Are you a member of a minority between the ages of 16 and 30 and actively involved in a member organisation of the Youth of European Nationalities (YEN)? Are you in a leading, organising or coordinating position within your youth organisation or would you like to take up such a position in the future and would like to strengthen and expand your skills? You can participate for the full duration of the training? Then this training is just right for you!
Please note that you must contact your organisation before you apply. Applications that were sent without the knowledge of an organisation will not be considered.
Participants will be informed after the registration deadline whether they have been selected or placed on the waiting list.
