The Youth of European Nationalities (YEN) is looking for participants for the Visibility in Action Training 1: Video / Documentation. The event will take place in Berlin, Germany from the 20th – 4th February 2025.

Visibility in Action Training Series in Year 2025

Throughout the year, we will offer three short training courses – the ” Training series “Visibility in action”. These trainings will focus on learning practical skills for Visibility actions. Each training will address a different skill in the topic of visibility and self-expression and its use in opportunities to widen the cause of minority youth organisations. The trainings are aimed to essentially help and you and others, belonging to national, ethnic, and linguistic minorities and work in, or are interested in working in the field of visibility, with right skills. We want to encourage and motivate you to actively contribute to your organisation’s visibility efforts and thereby support the self-representation of minority youth.

These trainings are predominantly for young people who are active in their Minority youth organisations. If you would like, you can participate in all three trainings, but you can also participate in just one or two – whatever suits you best.

About the Training

Our year 2025 starts with the Visibility in Action Training 1: Video / Documentation. As a young person from an autochthonous, linguistic, national and/or ethnic minority, we want to support you in acquiring practical skills for visibility action within your youth organisations and projects. This training will help you acquire skills on how to conceptualise, film and cut videos and documentations of Minority (youth) events.

Arrival Day:                     20^th February 2025 (if possible before dinner 6pm)

Departure Day:              24^th February 2025 (in the morning after breakfast)

Registration

Are you a member of a minority between the ages of 16 and 30 and actively involved in a member organisation of the Youth of European Nationalities (YEN)? Are you interested to learn how to doument youth events using your mobile phone to create short videos? Then this training is just right for you!

Please note that you must contact your organisation before you apply. Applications that were sent without the knowledge of an organisation will not be considered.

Participants will be informed after the registration deadline whether they have been selected or placed on the waiting list.
