Organisation
In the beginning of 1997 the German youth movement developed and received a real boost. In 2000 the all-Ukraine youth association “Deutsche Jugend in der Ukraine” was founded. The actual activities of the organisation already started in 1997.
Minority
In 1939 the Galicia-Germans, Volhynia-Germans etcetera were resettled in 1939 as so-called “Volksdeutsche” from Ukraine into the German empire. Some of these stayed however and today they live on the whole territory of Ukraine.
